Just wondering the thoughts of other who have experience in changing from a domestic flight (AA), through to an international flight (QF)?

Still planning on booking internal US flights, which I've chosen AA for a flight between PDX - SFO (5.55pm/7.45pm).

Our flight back home is with QF @ 11.25pm from SFO to SYD.

Enough time for making the QF flight, from lounge access to baggage pickup & drop off (if baggage can't get tagged to syd).

Through SFO you should be good.

I've never missed an outgoing connection but miss half the inbound ones in the US.

More than enough time. No bags to collect. No immigration or major security check (they might do a gate check).

If the flight lands on time you'll have 3 hours or so for the lounge.
