I'm just wondering about interlining baggage on the same ticket between Qantas and Garuda. I'm travelling to CGK via SIN and wondering if my bags will be checked through from BNE by QANTAS or if I will have to collect/recheck bags in SIN for the Garuda connection. I have 2 hours, so not concerned about time, just curious.

The QANTAS website talks about connections with OneWorld partners, but not airlines like Garuda (that I could find anyway).

Thanks for any info.

Same ticket, it is in the QF rules for tagging the bags all the way through, so QF-GA should be good to go.

Connections between OW carriers are permitted even if on separate tickets.

Thanks - thought that might be the case, but couldn't find a clear reference. More time in the GA lounge - have to go looking for that now...

It all depends if the QF & GA flights are on the same ticket. If they are then QF will check your bag through to CGK.

While there is an interline agreement for luggage they don't have an IATCI agreement for checkin so you'll need to obtain your GA boarding passes in SIN from the airside transfer desk.

QF arrive T1 in SIN & I believe GA use T2.

ozbeachbabe,

Thanks. Same ticket. The boarding pass is easy! It looks like Terminal 3 for GA departures, and the Dnata lounge.
