I'd love some help - I joined Mileage Plus tonight as I'm booking a Star Alliance round-the-world airfare, and although I can find information on how many points I need to redeem Star Alliance award flights, I can't seem to find out an estimator of how many points I will earn with this (or any other United or partner) ticket. Is there a Qantas-type calculator that I just can't find? Or does anyone know the mileage/sector earning rate offhand? I'd prefer not to have to wait until after I've taken the flights to get a rough points balance, if possible.

Thanks,
Clare

Hi clare_s_, welcome to AFF. :D

The Great Circle Mapper will give you a good estimate of your flown miles.

You will then have to apply the accrual rate for UA and applicable *A partners which can be found on this page:
United Airlines - Air

Note that class of service bonuses will only count towards status if earned on UA and US flights, as well as LH USA-Europe flights.
