I’m booked on an EK flight coming back from LHR in January. I thought I’d take a long stopover giving me some 15 hours to visit Dubai as I’ve never left the airport before. I now want to book my 19yo son on the same flights but using QF flight numbers.
However on the Qantas site ( using multi city ) the same flights don’t appear as an option, and yet if I go on Skyscanner they appear via Fly365 , Expedia or Ebookers with the QF flight numbers.
Does anyone know why this would be the case. Do I have to call QF or use a TA or are the Skyscanner QF flight numbers erroneous.
Here’s a screenshot of the Skyscanner page

My first port of call would be to phone Qantas - I hate phoning anyone - prefer to do most stuff online - but in this case you should start by actually phoning them :)

EDIT: and if first phone call doesn't help be prepared to HUACA :)

Thanks for the advice Juggles. Called and Lady confirmed that not all QF codeshare flights were shown on line and so would not attract the booking fee.
