Hi looking at hotels in Bangkok with club rooms with evening coughtails and Canapés, also with nearby markets etc , thanks in advance.

Intercontinental is a top choice. Easy to get to the markets and right next to major shopping centers and sky rail. Club lounge is excellent.

My vote goes to Athenee Bangkok which is not far from the Intercontinental.

The Lebua is our go to in Bangkok. Excellent club lounge with the best views in Bangkok IMO.
Not as close as others to the action but only a short walk to the sky rail

Luxury Escapes frequently has deals for Bangkok hotels.currently another one for The Marriott Marquis Queens Park which has a very good lounge with evening food that can easily be a meal.
I am taking it up as I can get a suite on this deal for just $A2.50 more than getting a room and hoping for the upgrade.But I also get a transfer to or from the airport.
