So just had the fee charged for my new year.I called twice before being billed and they said no to discount both times. Rang straight after being billed and got $350 back. Note, I did not say I was going to cancel, just the cost was too much for the benefits and I discussed what benefits were of no value to me and they gave me the discount. As I understand it, Aust laws prevent trying to stop a customer cancelling through incentives, so that is why I did not suggest cancelling……. If your current desire is to cancel, then you should be able to be more overt and get the whole $700 back. I have never had that rejected when requested and it is not far past billing date.

Now waiting on a return phone call from them.
