I paid off my Citi BT just before the last statement was issued, so the latest statement shows $0.00 owing. I have not had any interest free period (interest free days) during the BT because I only paid the minimum balance each month, not the full amount (per Citi T&Cs paying off the full amount is required to have interest free period).
Do I have to wait a full monthly cycle to re-instate the interest free period? And do I have to put something on the card to "pay off the full balance" to have the interest free days start again? Or because this latest statement shows $0.00 am I able to use this card again now.
In other words, which best describes the Citi interpretation of their T&Cs:
1. I can use the card now, get interest free days right away, or
2. I should wait until the next statement, then use the card, or
3. I need to put a small charge on the card just before the next statement and pay it off to get the IFD's back?
