hey everyone

Was wondering if people could offer some advice to me.

At the end of the year during the ski season I’m hoping to travel:

Syd-yvr-tokyo-seoul-bkk-syd

I was originally planning to go Seoul after Canada but I think that will mean I change direction going to Japan which isn't allowed.

I plan to use star alliance due to the new b777 service from AC, but am wondering if anyone knows the best way to get from Canada to Japan? I can't seem to find any flight information on the ANA website, and since I can't go to Korea first asiana is out.... So any possible advice you could offer would be much appreciated.

Also, if anyone can comment on the quality of other star alliance airlines, I have only really flown OW + tg and sg.

Tokyo = NRT
Seoul = ICN

Just if you want to use the airport codes for your searches

Just a quick look YVR-NRT on expert flyer using *A as the filter shows flights like as the only options.... unless there is an other intermediate airport you can force a routing via.

- NH 1895 (ANA) / AC 3 (Air Canada)
- United via SPO or SEA (eg UA 1117 & UA 837)

i guess what i'm really asking is whether there are any direct flights from canada to japan.

Flying a star alliance airline i can only see one possible direct flight. (Of course there is non star alliance options as well i would be sure)

- NH 1895 (ANA) / AC 3 (Air Canada)
