Feeling adventurous and booked a MAD-SYD-MAD return flight on China Eastern A350 J Class.
For 3000EUR it seems like a good deal.
Anyone have an recent experience with this hard/soft product?

There is a recent Youtube blog about flying J on China Eastern. It seems that they adopt the QF mantra of consistently inconsistent. The trip was on a B777 and an A330. The B777 experience was very good, except for the IFE, in both the hard and soft product but the A330 was poor in both ways. I would assume that the A350 would have the newer layout but of course the cabin crew is an unknown factor.

The J seats on the MU A350 actually look pretty good. I can't comment on the service.
