Was perusing some old posts & would like to know more about this site.
Noticed the post heading was "www site for seat allocation" are we supposed to be able to look at seats already allocated against a booking or only seats preferred which was all I could see in our case.
Many thanks to any replies

The CheckMyTrip site will show you what seat has been allocated if that has already occurred. If a seat has already been allocated you can brig up a seating plan of the aircraft, which helps you to work out which type of aircraft will be operating the flight.

Otherwise, it will just show you whether you prefer smoking or non-smoking, which these days is pretty moot.
