I've got a connection time question that should be fairly simple. There are a large number of connection time threads about specific airports. I thought a general connection time thread might be useful to consolidate the info.

So here is my connection request,
BKK connecting from SQ arriving at 17:25 to MH departing 18:40

Good or bad idea.

Is there an interline agreement? 75mins is pushing it, having one might help but still pushing it.

Sounds tight, although looking at recent on time performance is excellent on flightstats for your inbound flight. Therefore is do-able

If you have luggage, SQ do through check to MH but can't print boarding passes.

I think you're just OK. But I always prefer to have a minimum of 90 mins.

Thanks for the feedback. Most likely hand luggage only. But for a conference where adding in a proper suit and nice shoes means a suitcase. Would be separate bookings, I assumed that would void any interline agreements.

I assumed that would void any interline agreements.

SQ policy in the past has been to permit through checking of luggage on separate tickets, provided the two carriers have interline agreements in place. Need to present printed itinerary for onward journey at checkin. Have not read any recent reports or experience of change in this policy.
