Hi all

I am doing the dreadful redeye in Y in two weeks time.

I notice there are heaps of Jetstar flights to SIN, one to MEL, and two other QF flights to PER/MEL.

Can I assume that check-in is essentially open all afternoon until early evening for my QF44 flight?

Any experience with the contracting lounge at Denpasar?

Interesting! I naively assumed that Jetstar Asia and QF check-in would be the same and that you can check-in for QF44 all day. I am glad I asked!

Generally speaking the check in desks for JetStar and Qantas are different in outstations like DPS or HNL (although they may be located physically close to one another). JetStar and Qantas use entirely different systems for reservations so you would need to go to the correct check-in desk as the other desk won't be able to help you.

Unsure which lounge you're asking about. However, the PP Concordia lounge is pretty dire. It's warm, no alcohol, squishy. Shower did not look clean. Usual average lounge food options. Ok place to wait, but if you want a proper feed I'd just go to one of the many restaurants.
