Some decent deals there. I was looking at an X series about a year ago and passed due to price/features. At those prices they become very attractive.
 
I should add there is also a $350 desktop (no monitor)!
 
Once I added on all the extras, came in only a few hundred $ shorter than the X200 I purchased back in March ; so not too bad a deal. I note it seems to restrict to 5400 RPM drives, so you may need to call them and see if you can wrangle a 7200.
 
I looked at these prior to getting a macbook pro. For that price I'm seriously considering getting one for the "kids".

Yeah, Lenovos are still good after their split from IBM.

Much better than many other brands of laptops I've tried. Price doesn't always suit people, but they are well built.

People should note that there are various grades of laptops - consumer, corporate etc and that generally corporate type laptops provide much better supportability.
