It seems that Air New Zealand is finally listening to feedback.
From now all Air New Zealand operated long-haul flights will earn Airpoints dollars. Global Saver Max fares will now earn at the same rate as other discount economy fares.:)
The short haul flights, Domestic, Tasman and Pacific Island Smart Saver fares still earn no Airpoints.:(

And for a short time need to book by December 15, earn 50% Airpoints bonus and free membership for NZ long-haul flights for travel from 1 February.

This is a step in the right direction however for both changes there is no mention that other *A FFP will earn these points.
