It seems that Air New Zealand is finally listening to feedback.
From now all Air New Zealand operated long-haul flights will earn Airpoints dollars. Global Saver Max fares will now earn at the same rate as other discount economy fares.
The short haul flights, Domestic, Tasman and Pacific Island Smart Saver fares still earn no Airpoints.
And for a short time need to book by December 15, earn 50% Airpoints bonus and free membership for NZ long-haul flights for travel from 1 February.

This is a step in the right direction however for both changes there is no mention that other *A FFP will earn these points.
