Can anyone tell me if Qantas has said when the codeshare change to BA for the HKG LHR will begin?

I have F award seats in April MEL-LHR and as I have connecting flights to Madrid, I have looked at BA's timetable and it will really put my connections out of whack.

I know last year when they dropped F seats on this leg for a short period and swapped us to another flight, they didn't give a hoot about our connections, even though they were booked with Qantas at the same time.
I only get away for short trips, so the last thing I want, is to sit and waste 12 hours at Heathrow.

I had a look at this yesterday, as SYD-HKG-LHR is the route I sometime take (daylight all the way - yeah!!!).

The booking engine showed that the changes come into play late March (can't remember the exact date). However, this may not be correct - I was only looking at the booking engine. I suggest you speak to Qantas.

It will be interesting to see if BA put on a daylight flight HKG-LHR once QF29 ceases (sob).
