Husband is "unable to be covered " with travel insurance for the possible stopover country. Our destination is covered no problems (I imagine due to reciprocal agreements)
Does that mean if something happened in that five hours whilst waiting for the next flight he isn't covered for health insurance ?
The unable to be covered was when he did a dedicated application just for that country , so not going to that country now :( but just curious as one of the flights we could take will transit there

What does the PDS say, I suspect coverage for transit is ok, given the risk to the insurer is a few hours exposure.

Thank you :) I will download that lol. He hasn't been refused health insurance before , we have always just paid a significant amount but we actually got the denial yesterday

Stopover (24hrs>) or just the 5hrs transit?
Need to enter the country (like for USA) or airside transit?
