CBR-SYD Flyer Favor

Hi FF Community!

A very jetlagged me left my favorite hat at the security in Canberra airport over the weekend so it's now in the lost and found. They suggested using pack and send, but seeing as we are a frequent flyer community I thought it would be nice to see if anyone might grab it for me if they are flying the route and hopefully drop it at the lost and found in Sydney (or at the business lounge).

In return for your trouble I can offer one of the following gifts:

- PC+ Qantas wine voucher
- Qantas promo flight code

Unfortunately all out of lounge passes to offer for the moment. CBR have told me I have three weeks before hat is chucked.

@TomYagher - I cant help (no CBR trips for me) but wondering if you have other travels that line up (in the next 3+ weeks) for direct delivery. Or can always be collected and held over until someone in CBR visits SYD too.

How urgently do you need it back (notwithstanding the 3 week collection window…..)?

There’s a number of CBR members - worst case someone could collect from airport and hold for later.

Not urgent, got spares seeing as I'm one of those with no in built sun protection on top. It's just an old favourite of my mine.

Happy for it to be held if any of my travel dates line up....I've already updated October and November in the lounge meet up threads with my flights.

I'm based in CBR and can grab the hat for you if you wish. I do come to Sydney occasionally so I could drop it off to you, or alternatively, I could put it in a satchel (that would take a week or so to make the trip to Sydney).

I work at the CBR airport, 3 days a week. I might have a trip coming up to SYD in about 2 (or 3) weeks' time. Let me know if I can be of any assistance?

With a big thankyou to @Mattg the adventures of Mr Hat's Holiday in CBR are over, and he is now back to work protecting Baldilocks from the harmful effects of UV radiation.



Once again thankyou to the AFF community! Makes me wonder if a lost and found items reunification thread might be something useful for all forum members...
