HI All,
I have had platinum credit card with CBA for some time and travelled a lot and always relied on its insurance it gives (never had to make a claim, touch wood). I am now on a Diamond card, so the same insurance. HOWEVER, i was in the bank changing money for Thailand and my business manager was chatting with me, and he said, and i quote "Your gonna buy travel insurance arent you" I was shocked and asked why, i thought i was covered by the cards insurance, "yeah well you are, but id still say buy a policy somewhere"
Is the insurance on these cards not reliable? Now im nervous cause thailands a place id expect claims are more likely compared to say USA etc. What should i do?
