Caution: Rant about dodgy airline websites

Hi All!

Has anyone else noticed the airline lounge "alliance" websites and some airline websites have dodgy/incomplete/vague information?

How hard is it to give accurate directions to a lounge? Terminal,null,null is not helpful. Soooo many discrepancies. A lounge name will even vary from site to site. Opening hours will vary from site to site. Alliance websites will mention a lounge that an airline website doesn't and vice versa. Not enough clear information!

If I am booking a flight based on the available lounge I want to be 100% sure that it exists, and if it exists I want to know where it is, when it will be open and will my ticket/membership/status let me in!!

All I want is accurate, clear and comparative information across the websites, surely it's not that hard!!!

I can sympathize - try choosing a seat or changing a booking on the Thai website - not going to happen - how hard can it be?

Yep,

Some airlines need to invest some serious funds into there websites.
 
1. Being able to use the SQ website for anything is an achievement in itself.
2. Every now and then, the CX redemptions don't work for me.
3. The infamous QF exclamation mark when making a premium cabin redemption booking.
And the list goes on...
