Mrs Ikara and I are booked to fly SYD - HKG (CX162) then HKG - CDG (CX261), back to HKG on CX260 and then home to ADL on CX105. All of this is in J. SYD - HKG and HKG - ADL are on a A330-300 and the HKG - CDG - HKG legs are on a B777-300. As far as I can tell the J seating is the herringbone arrangement. We have been assigned 12 D&G on the A330 and 18 D&G on the B777.

Are there any better seats for a couple travelling together? Would a window and a middle be a better proposition rather than the two middles?

All thoughts appreciated.

Thanks
JB

It would seem you are on the newly configured J on Cathay, not the old herringbone. The 2 middle seats are the best option for a couple.
