Does the Amex Platinum Edge travel insurance provide any sort of cover for rental car hire?
This is the insurance document (secure*cmax*americanexpress*com|Internet|International|japa|AU_en|Personal|shared|files|Platinum_Edge_Insurance.pdf [sorry - you'll have to put in the dots and slashes yourselves since my post limit is too low]) for Amex Platinum Edge travel insurance. I can see nothing in it that says anything about car rental coverage. I therefore expect that because it is not specifically included, there is no accident/collision/property damage coverage of any sort?
I did try calling Amex; the 1800 number answers, but the section I need is only open 8a-8p M-F.
