Virgin Blue is likely to announce more capacity cuts when it releases its half-year results
Speaking in Sydney yesterday, chief executive Brett Godfrey said the airline was "leaving no
stone unturned" in reviewing its network. "It’s pretty clear the Australian market is not as
buoyant as this time last year," Godfrey said.
"It’s fair to say we’ll be looking to reduce capacity in the Australian domestic market."
Godfrey said he would elaborate further upon release of Virgin Blue’s half-year results on
February 23.
