can't find sale QF flights to YVR

Qantas website has ~$1250 return fares to Vancouver but despite searching through the specified travel dates I can't find anything remotely close to that (basically double! :shock.

Can anyone shed any light on this. Hardly think all the seats have been sold. Perhaps they just haven't been loaded? Would otherwise be a great fare to YVR.

Maybe they have not been loaded correctly.

I called yesterday about this as my brother was trying for any days within a four month period - no sale or red-e-deals available - unlikely.

Qantas staffer not very helpful - didn't know why - suggested keep trying over the weekend and call back on Monday....

I'll take a stab and suggest that the fares would be for a connection through DFW. None of the options seem to give the DFW transit, so I would guess that perhaps they haven't been loaded properly.

What about a travel agent?

I find at times like these my trusted TA is an incredibly important asset in finding flights (especially ones with connections)

Qantas advised me this morning advising that they can see the sale fares on their manual booking system but the online system is not reporting them.

Advised to ring up and ask for a quote and they will honour the advertised fare (where it is available). Some fares may go via DFW, but most are still codeshare via LAX.
