Canada airport security

To date, I've only been through CTSA screening after US Preclearance before flights into the US where they have to follow TSA requirements.

I have some flights upcoming which would follow the normal Canada rules (Domestic flights YVR-YYC/YYC-xYYZ-YOW, and a non US international out of YYZ).
Do the normal Canada rules compare more to AU rules or TSA rules?

More like Europe.

Not as relaxed as domestic AU rules but the experience is way more relaxed than anything TSA.
