I swear this website will do my head in, why is it I can understand Qantas and Virgin but SIA drives me nuts, i've spent 30 mins trying to work out how many points an upgrade from J class to First would be from SIN to SYD, thinking of putting in for an upgrade request for the last leg home just to say I went first once, and I can't work it out, are we zone 9? if so is it 100,000 points for 2 upgrades? Sigh... its late and i'm tired, and I may have a couple of blondes up there.... TIA SIA guru's for your help.;)

HG all I ever do is book the journey on points in First if it is sitting there ready fo me to go click on Saver or Standard.
i had to cancel one and that was a cinch...that was a site glitch where I was going to LHR on two successive days.
Keeping my life simple I make the points then click and they are gone in the available selected class.
You can call them on their Kris Flyer number which is an 02 Australian number. They are very helpful!

thanks Cove, I already have booked J class tickets, I just want to request a last leg upgrade, and I will need to transfer my points from my AMEX to top up my Kris Flyer account with them before I have to ring and pay for them in a week or so, so thought I could just have the points sitting there waiting and it could all be done in one phone call, i'll just ask next week when I call.
Cheers

HG

East Coast is Zone 9 and Intersect with Zone 12 for UK.

But this page : https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub-krisflyer/RedeemMiles_SQMI/ explains that for upgrades from J to F you have to ring the call centre.
To redeem your miles for an upgrade to the Singapore Airlines Suites, please call KrisFlyer Membership Services.

Sounds like a wonderful trip.

Oh and SQ let youknow immediately if the upgrade is available, not like QFF system of waiting until a few days before.
