Hi all,

I'll be popping over from Singapore to Penang for two nights and want to get the most out of it. I'll be staying in Georgetown.

Do I need a tour guide for Penang or is it manageable to see the main sites by myself? If it's preferred I get a guide, can someone please recommend me one?

Thanks!

If you're young and agile enough - do it yourself. Google the places to see/do.
You can hire a Grab (Uber) car for an entire day. Ask the dude to take you to A, B, C etc.

If you're less mobile - I'd go through a tour company where you'll be with a bunch of 70-year-olds that do drivebys and see the easy sights.

Penang is cheap enough to Grab everywhere. Plenty to see in Georgetown.

Have fun!
