Lots of good suggestions when I searched but figured things change and maybe I need to post this to see if there is something perfect that is new. The latest post I could find was 2 years ago.

We are celebrating a significant wedding anniversary and plan on taking my son and wife to Byron Bay to celebrate. We started going to Byron way back I the 80s and went many times over the years but haven’t been since pre Covid so am sure I need to update my memory.

Where will we stay? Love being near the beach preferably with a view. A house, an apartment or resort. Don’t mind paying $$ for the perfect place.

Thanks for any suggestions for restaurants and coffee shops.

Raes in Wategos is great, Crystalbrook or Elements for resorty stuff, Sun Ranch or the Atlantic if you want to embrace your inner hipster, Cape Guesthouse or Barbera's guesthouse come recommended if you want a standalone housethere are so many short term stay options available.

I love the Lighthouse Keepers' cottages. Spent the big 5-0 up there during covid times as the QLD border was closed one-way (don't get me started on that!)

Views are stunning, you get a back yard with BBQ, and they shut the gate to the road just after sunset, so the place is all yours. Beaches are a quick drive away or a leisurely boardwalk down to Wategoes.

And Woolies delivers to you as well! 😃
