There's another promo on now with up to 70% bonus when buying Virgin Points. Ends 7 March 2025.
It may not bother you but Saudia pretty much only releases 1 J seat on every flights these days I’ve found. Don’t know if their own program has more availabilityMissed out last time with no existing points; did a couple of Avis crediting afterwards, and have now bought some. Def not a SkyTeam guy, but will be doing some Saudia short & long haul soon, so the points can keep each other company.
No worries, I meant that I’ll be crediting the Saudi revenue flights to Virgin Atlantic and so now have worthwhile home for the Saudi points and use maybe on AFIt may not bother you but Saudia pretty much only releases 1 J seat on every flights these days I’ve found. In the past I’ve credited excess VA flights to VS but with the VA “enhancement” I’m crunching numbers to see if it works out better to credit all my VA flights to VS. That would give me SkyTeam status and can use the status benefits on VA flights. No worries, I meant that I’ll be crediting the Saudi revenue flights to Virgin Atlantic and so now have worthwhile home for the Saudi points and use maybe on AF
Hmmmm. Good idea. I probably would reach VA platinum again but now I’m flying mostly business domestically there’s not much point. I’ll have to crunch those numbers myself. If you come to any conclusion, can you let us know somewhere please? In the past I’ve credited excess VA flights to VS but with the VA “enhancement” I’m crunching numbers to see if it works out better to credit all my VA flights to VS. Has anybody figured this out? Keen for an alternative if there is one, rather than having to dial a UK number to call VS to get the GA booking reference. GA's website only seems to open bookings using the six character booking reference (same as the mobile app), while online check-in appears to accept a ticket number.Anyone know how to allocate seats on GA flights online with a VS booking?
Do I need to call?

I used my VS Flying Club points last year to book Sydney to Seoul via Jakarta, flying GA + KA. So, I called KA, they gave me their booking reference, I was then able to go into KA and GA web site to choose seats.Has anybody figured this out? Do an online chat with VS from their website, I think from support page sort of pops up attached to bottom of the windowHas anybody figured this out?
