Is there any budget airlines flying between Philippines and Hawaii or Singapore and Hawaii?

Thanks.

You can fly one-way fares on Hawaiin Airlines from Manila-Honolulu and credit to Virgin's Velocity. Not exactly LCC but pretty close. For some reason the CO fares via GUM are never as cheap as you think they might be.....:?:
I have heard from Manila locals that NWA fares between Manila and NRT/NGO are the cheapest around but fares from Japan to Hawaii are always expensive.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will fly Hawaiian from MNL to HNL and credit the points to velocity.

Cheers.

You should be aware that the cheapest fares on HA do not earn any Velocity points. I discovered this recently when flying HNL-LAX.

Thanks for that. It is worth noting.

Are there only Jetstar and Hawaiian flying from HNL back to Australia at the lower end of the price range?

Cheers.

You can fly pretty reasonable one-way fares (<$1000 all up) on Air Pacific from HNL back to OZ. Not sure about the connection times in Fiji.

Thanks for all replies. I ended up booking the MNL-HNL leg with Hawaiian at USD617 and HNL-SYD leg with Jetstar at USD547 (all inclusive). Not sure about the points on Hawaiian but I thought the prices were good regardless. I had to change the dates around to get the best fare.

Cheers.
