Just a heads up for anyone heading to the Brisbane lounge this afternoon, Thursday 27th June, get ready for a long wait for a seat. Virgin has chosen this afternoon during the rush hours to block off 1/3rd of the lounge to film a commercial. Not sure why they couldn’t choose a quieter or even after closing time slot and neither were the poor lounge staff trying to sort out the mess it is causing.
Seating is at a very high level of unavailability despite the lounge staff doing a great job to shuffle people where they can. Many are unfortunately being asked to stand where they can until a seat becomes available so just letting people know before seeing it when they turn the corner past the lounge checking desks.
