Bought Gold - Still get ads!

Just wondering if anyone can diagnose why if I bought Gold membership upon registration to the site I am still getting advertisements on every page and in my profile settings it has the option for me to buy membership. I got a receipt from paypal immediately after paying.

Strange, I subscribed Gold today & the ads disappeared as promised.
