Hi guys,

Trying to book Syd to KL on MH. Over the phone the operator is stating points required return in J is 130,000 but on Qantas website for the distant, it should be 120,000.

Why is this?

Partner awards cost a touch more compared to flying on QF.

As you are flying on MH, it comes out as a Partner award. From what I can gather from Mileage Monkey, it is 4096 miles, which is 65k each way in J, hence the 130k price for a return award. If QF were to fly direct between SYD and KUL, the price would be 120k return.

Hope that is the answer you are after.
