Hi All,

My apologies in advance if this has been answered before, I am planning to book tickets this week in Y to KL in May2013 on MAS. I would like to know if I will be able to earn QF points and SC's as MAS would have joined OW by then. Thanks in advance!!!

I don't think there is a definitive answer available on this yet as MH fare classes are not in the Airline Earning Table yet. Its likely it will depend on the fare class. Like a lot of other airlines deeply discounted MH tickets don't earn Enirch points with MH and this would probably be the best available guide at the moment...Enrich - Earn Enrich Miles - Malaysia Airlines | Malaysia Airlines .. note also that some fares earn a lot less points with them than others. If they don't earn points with MH I suspect they won't with Qantas as well, as the T&Cs note
9.4 Points Are Not Earned on All Flights
9.4.1 Points are not earned for travel on:
(a) flights or booking classes that are not listed in or are excluded in the Airline Earning Table;

Now could I be so rude as to tack on a related question. I am looking to make a MH booking in the next few days (DEL-KUL-BNE rt in J) - the booking engine appears to accept only Enrich FF numbers; has anyone been able to add in another airline's FF number yet, in particular QFF number?

Cheers skip

My advice is to book it with no FF number in there. Then add your QFF number to the booking after the ribbon ceremony has been completed :)
