I wondering if anyone can answer this question when booking Jetstar flights online.

I recently booked a flight for my wife and I and we intended to book one of us with one bag as luggage and the other to go light. However, I could not find anywhere on the booking site that allows a joint booking to be 1 with and 1 without ...... thus, they pocket and extra $10.

The option is to make 2 separate bookings however they now slug a $28 service & booking fee.

Does anyone know the answer.

Unfortunately thats really the only option, you can avoid the booking fee if you pay with POLi or by using direct deposit from your bank account but both are pretty PITA options....even making two seperate bookings you can still allocate seats together once you have made the booking.

Sorry I'm not bearing better news :(

I have to agree it is a real letdown in their booking engine. Had the same trouble booking flights with my three kids for a few days. One suitcase would have been ample, instead had the kids were toting heavier backpacks than normal.
