I was just searching for a flight MEL-PER and noticed that the "class" dropdown box had reappeared.
So it seems to have gone back to having to search and display flights in economy and business separately.
Even for domestic flights.
Anyone else noticed this?
Is it general or specific to MEL-PER because of PE availability on QF9/10?

Same for other QFi - shows PE/J, or chnage drop down for Y. Only had a quick look. Also no sign of fare bucket. Will have a gander at QFd later.

Interestingly MEL-PER is showing Y & PE if you select Y, just PE if you select PE, and PE & J if you select J.
The class selection dropdown does disappear if I change the departure port to SYD so it does appear to be specific to MEL-PER.

Also if I search for MEL-PER flights this way on the general QF site it doesn't show the discount fares available to business rewards customers (these are shown on other routes in this search engine).
But if I go to the business rewards site and search for MEL-PER flights from there, it doesn't activate the class selection dropdown and it does show the discount fares.
So obviously I will book through that site and not through the general QF site.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

When I read the thread title, I thought Qantas had finally started showing the fare class on its website! ;)

Oh well :(
Sorry for the confusion and consequent disappointment.
I would refer to that as the fare bucket not the booking class, as there are several fare buckets within each class of travel.

I too thought it meant the booking class was being displayed.. which would be back to the future as they did one time, in a galaxy far far away.... most helpful it was too.
