I am about to book a one way trip from Baltimore to Heathrow through BA online. Woudl it be worth doing it through the UK or USA site? I am a member of QFF and am wondering if this flight will accrue some points for me as I am very new at doing online bookings etc and am trying to find all the ins and outs of the QFF program. Any help (or alternative suggestions) really appreciated. Many thanks, Trish

I guess it will depend on where your credit card is based. If you are using an Australian credit card then I would just use the country of departure for your flight.

I booked 2 oneways on British Airways last year; once for a flight from the UK and then the return separately from Amsterdam.

British Airways flights will usually credit the discount status credits but you are only likely to get 25% of the points for the distance of flight, unless you purchase an expensive ticket.

The booking will take about 3 days to show up on your credit card; but should turn up on your Qantas booking page within 24 hours.
