Hi All,
I've just booked (first time) using Krisflyer for 3 pax SYD-AKL-NAD return. I was able to get J on the SYD-AKL return sectors, but only Y on AKL-NAD return - even though I chose the 772 flight both ways (which has J). For this, I've had to redeem the full J miles of 35k x 3.
Now, I "think" (gee, the VOIP line quality/accent is bad,) from my discussion with the Call Centre that Air NZ releases only 2 x J seats on that sector/flight to * alliance members. I asked if it was possible to book 2 in J and 1 in Y (wife is keen to go business all the way) but I'm not sure what the answer was due to the VOIP/accent, and in the end I must admit I got a little frustrated and just booked it.
Now that the flight is ticketed, would it be possible to amend the 2 x J seats and leave 1 in Y for the AKL-NAD-AKL sectors? If not, what's the best approach to getting J on those sectors.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
