Hello all,

I have a QFF account, have lots of points, but usually through credit card spend.
I fly around 6 trips yearly on different airlines.

for the purpose of redeeming flights, should I credit this upcoming CX J trip SYD<=>LHR to QFF or start Asia Miles ?

thanks

Asia Miles are arguably more valuable than Qantas points for long-haul travel, but by crediting to Asia Miles you would miss out on (quite a substantial amount of) Qantas status credits. I would only credit to Asia Miles if (a) QF status credits aren't important to you and (b) as part of a longer-term strategy to move your loyalty to CX.

As you seem to already have an established relationship with Qantas, I would just stick with them unless you have a specific reason to go with CX. There is no need to credit the flight to CX just because you're flying with them.
