Having been with Marriott for over 12 years, all their programs from their timeshare to Rewards ..such as Bonvoy are very poor...they devalue greatly
At one stage 3 years ago I could get 2 business flights to Europe with 7 days accommodation and now I can just get 2 coast to coast business flight within the USA with same points
Stick with qantas rewards ..so far their rewards have devalued marginally compared to Marriotts.
Also Consumer pressure for whatever reason is better in OZ to keep Qantas accountable.
In USA Marriott consumer pressure is ineffective.
