BNE-TSV Points table

To the all knowing travelers of all things QF:

I just did a return MEL-BNE-TSV trip and find it odd that the points cost to upgrade from flex Y to J is the same for both legs, but the SC earn is 30 from MEL-BNE, yet 20 for BNE-TSV.

I understand BNE-TSV is slightly shorter, but aren't the upgrade tables and SC tables worked off the same distances? Or was this enhanced recently?

Award redemption levels didn't change with Smarter and Fairer (tm) although SC earn did.
