BNE to AKL - which carrier?

i'm flying BNE to AKL in a few weeks in J and i'm looking at flying QF over and NZ back - they are about both the same price for J but i've never flown NZ so i'd be keen to try it.

is this a good plan or should i do the opposite or one airline both ways?

Air NZ would be 777-300 over and A320 Neo on the way home

Air New Zealand doesn't have Business class on the A320.

I would be aiming to try Qantas one way on the A330 and Air NZ on the Boeing 777 in the other direction. Both are good products.

Yep, would be my choice. Their A350 J product is fantastic
