Has anyone been through BNE international recently? I’m going to SIN Thursday, and looking for to travelling again, and wondered if I need to allow extra time.

Or are the problems just in SYD?

thanks,

It has fewer international flights than SYD or MEL, so numbers travelling are smaller.

No media reports apparent for BNE international delays. A good sign, but best to err on the side of caution and maybe arrive four hours (or at worst 3.5) before your flight. This has a 'cost' to you but the alternative of missing a flight is worse. Happy travels!

Went through yesterday. Very few international flights, maybe 10 per day I think I counted. Seems to take a lot longer at the check in desks but likely due to all the additional documentation that needs to be checked for SIN. Unsure what this would be like for other destinations. Other than that it was a very smooth process. No delays or issues at all.

2hrs might be cutting it fine but may be ok. When I dropped the other NoNames last week they took just over 1hr for the bag drop in the Y line. I’d say 2.5-3hrs would be more ideal.

Does anyone have feedback on BNE International check-in and security check queue times? I am travelling 3 May Emirates.

I'm waiting for my flight now. Check in with Fiji airways took about 10 minutes (business line), but economy line didn't look too bad either. Security was very quick, queue for coffee much, much longer!

I think we can safely say this for almost every flight out of AU these days. Even in Dom, it took 40 mins to get checked in & drop bags. The kiosks, as good as they are, they don't work sometimes and a staff takes you to the check-in queue ... from there it takes forever! My experience early this week, 40 minutes in the Premium line to check-in MEL-CBR

Just spoke to someone else who flew to SIN yesterday. Zero queues and flight was only 20-30% capacity. Singapore Airlines

the SQ business check in was only 2 minutes but there was long line for general check in. Security was a short line and only one station was open - it was pretty quick though.

the flight to SIN was very full.

I would err on the side caution for a while longer.
