BNE Airport Parking - Cheaper to overstay?

Need help with some maths. BNE domestic (pre-booked) ParkLong quote is $180 for five days. But 24 hours is $70, and ParkLong overstay fee is $15/day, therefore a total of $130 ($70 + 4x$15). Have I missed something or is overstay the way?

So I’ve booked 4pm tomorrow to 3pm Friday for $65. Will actually return Sunday evening and expect to pay an additional $45 then. Will report back.

Booked a 24hr booking. Overstayed 2 days.
Paid $30 to exit carpark.

So I’ve booked 4pm tomorrow to 3pm Friday for $65. Will actually return Sunday evening and expect to pay an additional $45 then. Will report back.

This worked almost as expected. Exited the car park approx 6:30pm last night and was charged $30. Had thought it would be $45 since I had booked until 3pm Friday.

End result was $98 compared to the online price for the whole period of $135.

Need to park here again this weekend and wondering if the park short could be an even cheaper option here. May have missed it of course but can’t see anything in the terms to differentiate between park short and park long.

I need to enter approx 6am Saturday and will exit around 10pm Sunday. Thinking of booking the park short for 3hrs and seeing what happens. Looks like it would be $25 + 2x$15 late fees vs $62 + 1x$15 late fee.
