That is why they were black - doesn't show the mud!

Actually on recent experience the All Blacks play better in good weather, poor weather brings the ref into the game. And that kind of accords with the results, anyone notice that no one shook the refs hand as he left, he clearly had no clue and neither side was happy!

*bump*

We leave on Wednesday to catch the 2nd game at Eden. Anyone else?

And that awkward moment when you think you are sneaking off for some R&R and you find out your GM will be also at the game, at the same hotel but you will have to guest him in at the lounge and wave him off to Y.

Was for once glad I was up on Level 6 at ANZ Stadium, looked downright horrible on Level 1.

Australia just made too many silly mistakes, and on a wet night where it was always going to be difficult to score, didn't take the penalties when they should have.

Ref was atrocius, blowing up way too many scrums when the ball was effectively out, and some interesting line out calls. I suspect we didn't get more than about 50 minutes real play.

Okay performance from the AB's tonight. Still way too many drop balls/silly mistakes for my liking.

Currently standing outside Eden Park, it's lonely out here, wearing my wallabies supporters jersey.

Ah yes, and to think they could get better but for the Wannabies they have hit their best. Bring back John Eales maybe, they haven't had a good year since he left!

Historic reference, Wallabies supporters always seem to dissipate quickly after the game against the ABs, wonder why?

Speaking of making history, Richie McCaw got a yellow card. It had to happen sooner or later. He's been getting away with all manner of mischief for years.

I didn't have qualms about refereeing.

There were a couple of minor things. How is it right that tackled wallaby pushes the ball backwards to then have an AB standing behind the tackled player kick the ball down field? I'll have to review my recording but that is how it looked.

But it's a minor thing compared to a lazy, mistake ridden performance by the wallabies.

I see a lot of rapt Kiwi's here tonight. Pity most Australians who didn't go to private schools don't really care about tonight result against the Pacific Islanders republic of NZ.
