Friend + 2 are transiting through BKK soon - flying Y on Thai and have no status.

I have not been able to find anything up to date on paid lounge access - wondering if anyone here had recent experience/ knowledge.

TIA

Louis Tavern CIP Lounge.

Works with Priority Pass or with Lounge Pass by paying online. The online rate of the one I am looking at is £29 per person for 3 hours or £60 per person for 5 hours.

You may also be able to purchase entry at the lounge if not busy. Not sure of the rate.

Personally I think those rates are exhorbitant. If I have a few hours to kill I go downstairs to basement where the train station station is located and buy beer from 7Eleven for 60 baht. Plenty of seats to relax before flight.

What facilities are you hoping the lounge will provide? Maybe there are other options you could avail yourselves of?

Not for me so not 100% sure. I am assuming it is somewhere quiet and where they can freshen up - one pax is elderly - they'd prefer not to spend 4 hours (+1 boarding time) sitting in the airport generally.

The Louis Tavern lounge is pretty basic, but as JohnK says, you can book in advance easily enough.

From memory not all Louis Tavern CIP lounges have showers. Probably best to go the CIP lounges in concourse F or G which may not necessarily be near the concourse used by TG flights. Lounges are very basic including food and drink.

There are a couple of options.

Thai Airways offers use of its own Royal Silk lounges for AUD59 per person for 2.5 hours of lounge access. This can be booked directly through Thai Airways Australia.

They also advertise rates at the Louis Tavern Lounge for AUD20 per person for 2 hours.
