Looking to fly from Sin to Bne on either 6th or 7th of Jan 14 and would like to book ASA J class. I am Platinum however have not booked anything since the changes made to the JASA awards.
Would like to use points + pay without foregoing a bucketload of points. The QF site does not appear to come up with many options now. What is the best way to identify good value JASA flights and what is the best way to book now that QF have changed the ASA awards booking rules.
Thanks FBS

The first step is to look for classic award availability, in your case there is no second step as there is no availability, meaning J ASAs are going to be very expensive. Normally you would then follow the sticky re ringing the call centre etc. You might want to look at booking an enrich redemption using miles plus cash with Malaysian in the next 7 days with their 50% off promo, you get enough miles on joining, just have to get to KUL with someone like 3K, should be less than $1000 in J.

Check out this thread, in particular post #3. (I would use point 4 rather than point 2 as my request). Also note post #5 if there is any trouble or issue.
