Best Sim Card for USA

Hi all,

I am travelling to the US in 4 weeks and looking into getting a US sim card to avoid the dreading roaming bill when I get back. I am looking to be able to call, text both US numbers and back to Aus and have a decent data allowance.

Any tips or if there is a post already here I have missed, it would be greatly appreciated.

I use Redpocket. It's prepaid month by month.

They use AT &T. $54 is unlimited domestic calls and text and 1gb data. 20 international SMS also included per month. They have other plans as well.

how long are you going for?

I was there for nearly a month and wanted to use data HEAVILY so the best deal seemed to be T-Mobile $70 unlimited USA call,SMS,4G data + $10 unlimited international landline+SMS
(there were cheaper deals with TMo but they had less 4G data than I was planning to use)

Was getting A$1.05 back in January.
