G'day all, This will be our third year in a row we will be traveling to Thailand via Singapore on Singapore Airlines. In the past we have got onto the website 48hrs in advance to check where were seated and made changes if possible. Now, I'm a big bloke and find it very embarrassing when it comes to meal time etc because I cant get the tray table down fully to put tray on...
I find myself holding the back of the chair in front of me the whole journey in case the person in front wants to recline their seat (selfish I know).

Is there an option to get the Exit row or the row behind the Galley seats?

Are these seats going to be suitable for me?

Any tricks of the trade would be great, hopefully this will be the last year I have to do this seeing I'll be getting a gastric band in Feb 2012..

All helpful comment appreciated.
