Hi

After saving up my points for a long time I finally have enough to go to LA, from Brisbane, in business. So my big USA trip is planned for July next year.

I have booked and was able to select any seat except row 5, which I was hoping for. Is there any next best, or any must avoid seats in Business?

This will be a first for me, never been Business before except once from Sydney to Brisbane, so I'm hoping to make it awesome!

Congrats on your first long-haul business class redemption!

First the bad news - There is a 15% discount starting 1st October so the number of points you would have needed would be 15% less

Others can advise but it may be possible to cancel this booking and then re-book at the cheaper fare, for a small penalty ?

I would personally avoid 1H or 1K as they are near the toilet but again with 3 toilets for only 33 seats it's not really that bad...

Hi and Congrats on the points. I'm with Lovestotravel. Avoid row 1, it's noisy and you get light coming through during the night when the curtain open and closes.
